From mighty lions and playful lemurs to gentle tortoises and curious goats, every resident at Kowiachobee Animal Preserve has a unique story to tell. Many of our animals were rescued, surrendered, or retired from situations where they could no longer be cared for — and now they live safe, healthy, and loved right here at the preserve.

Licensed by the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission and USDA.
Your Visit Supports Our Animals
All tour proceeds are considered donations and go directly toward the care, feeding, and enrichment of our animal residents. Your visit helps provide daily care and supports our mission to give these animals a safe, loving home.
